Odinn's Champions

Race:  Norse
Coach:  Right Stuff
co-coach:  Paul OG
From the North they Came, the Warriors of Odinn. Their dragon headed ships appearing out of the mist to strike without warning. Giving up their previous hobbies of fighting, looting, and burning they have swapped their axes for Blood Bowl armour to take on all comers and return home with Glory and Honour!.

Under the direction of new Coach "Right Stuff" Reilly, the future bodes well for these raiders who show no mercy on the seas or on the pitch!

Champs bow out with Style
After a second finals loss Odinn's Champs have bowed out of the Empire Records 2 playoffs. Going down to the evil stunties of the Hammer of Hashut in a 2:1 overtime loss, stoic Coach Right Stuff was pleased with the progress of the team this season.

The Champions took the in-match death of rookie Ulfwerner Ragnarr the Fluffy in their stride, instead celebrating the extra strength of Star Berserker Sven Forkbeard who inflicted two deaths this season, and Snow Troll Angry Agnarr placing third in the season's top casualty inflictors.

'The Champs will be back soon after a short post season viking raids on unsuspecting villages to improve the team's finances' Coach Right Stuff said.

Odinn's Champs make the playoffs!
Finishing up their first Minors season (Group Bahamut) in second place, Coach Right Stuff Reilly is thrilled to take his first team into the playoffs.

"The boys are ready for action" he said in yesterday's media conference. "All the players will be available and the team has developed nicely. There is an interesting mix of bash and ag teams in there and I'm looking forward to contesting the Empire Records Cup against them."

Odinn's Champs to Return!!!
In a surprise announcement Coach Right Stuff has announced that Norse Blood Bowl team Odinn's Champions will return to the ACTBBL for a second season.
'Our rookie season was a bit rough and we took a few casualties which really hampered our success. Our 2W-1D-4L record wasn't great but we pulled off a great win against the odds at the end of the season to beat the league leaders, which show just what this team can do' he said.

Finishing up 6th out of 8 teams in the Rookie division, Odinn's Champions have now been offered a place in the Minors Division for the upcoming Season.

'Its going to be tough and the other teams have more experience, but that means I'll get more Wizards and inducements,' Coach Right Stuff said. 'We also have talent scouts out looking at a few promising Norse Werewolves and as soon as we can secure some promotional deals we'll be making some contract offers.'

On the subject of sponsorship Coach Right Stuff was unwilling to comment on the rumours of a partnership between the Champions and well known beverage manufacturer Krunchy Kremes. 'Nothing is off the table at this stage, but pre season training has the majority of my focus' he said.

Go Champions!

Going Out on a High!
The Norse completed their first season today under rookie coach Reilly in his first appearance in the League. It was a David and Goliath matchup with the Norse at the bottom of the ladder facing off against the developed human team "All French Company" at the very top. The Norse were delighted to pull off a close 1 nil to finish the season on a high, helped by some hot dice and blessing from Nuffle.

Unfortunately it was only the second Victory of the season, the other being way back in Round 1 with a lot of heartache and Nuffle curses in between.

Thanks very much to all our opponents throughout the year and we look forward to playing you again soon.
